Twitter’s most requested feature is coming
The New York Times called it the biggest shift since the doubling of the character limit in 2017.
It’s the edit button! Typos be gone!
The way it’s currently slated to work is that you’ll have 30 minutes to be able to update the tweet. You’ll also be able to see a full edit history and the tweet will be marked as edited. But after 30 minutes it’s locked forever. I think it’s a really good middle ground.
Snapchat is downsizing
It’s cutting 20% of its global workforce, which means 1,600 people will be out of a job. They’re reorganizing their teams around three priorities: community growth, revenue growth, and augmented reality. Interestingly, just days earlier, it was announced two of Snaps top executives are headed to Netflix to kickstart their new ad sales team.
